The amazing team at Thrive Themes announced today that they will be replacing their Thrive Content Builder plugin with a new tool – Thrive Architect.
To those who don’t know, Thrive Themes is one of my recommended vendors and they make amazing stuff.
The company has developed a series of products that help you create an outstanding user experience from the very first moment someone visits your website, all the way through to becoming our subscriber, using your products and then becoming a customer.
One of their flagship products has been the amazing Thrive Content Builder.
What is Thrive Content Builder?
Thrive Content Builder is the ultimate Click-to-Edit Front End Builder for Your Website
This plugin changed the game for a lot of us who use WordPress on a day to day basis. It transforms the WordPress front end interface into a more elaborate UI you can use to create beautiful content and landing pages.
It makes an incredibly powerful difference to the way you use WordPress and allows you to create high quality pages that were impossible before. You can check it out here.
So what is Thrive Architect?
Thrive Architect is the evolution of Thrive Content Builder. As Shane the founder says “The new visual editor is not just a new version of the same old plugin. It’s a complete overhaul.”
Some of the clarity he provided today.
Will current Thrive Content Builder customers get the new plugin for free?
YES! Sounds too good to be true? Wait til you see the new plugin! Despite the huge changes, we are treating the new plugin as an update to Thrive Content Builder, which means that EVERYBODY who now has Thrive Content Builder will get the new plugin for free. This includes Thrive Members, of course.
What will happen to the pages built with TCB? Will my previous design and layout stay in place?
The new Thrive Content Builder is backwards compatible. That means you can start using it and it won’t affect your previous content AND you can edit your TCB content with the new plugin.
Thrive Architect is launching on the 29th of August 2017 and since I am a Thrive customer, look out for my Thrive Architect review as soon as it comes out.
