Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced front-end developer who can work with our project managers and design team to bring our designs to life for websites, emails and web applications.
Responsibilities
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and ES6
• 5+ years of WordPress CMS experience
• Craft CMS experience is a bonus
• Shopify, WooCommerce and other ecommerce platform experience
• Custom theme development from scratch – no page builders or premade themes
• Knowledge of the CMS plugin ecosystems
• Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields or a similar tool for creating a custom backend CMS
• Translating design documents from Sketch/Photoshop into websites and emails
• Ability to work with PHP in a CMS environment
• HTML email coding
• Source control using Git and BitBucket
• Responsive design best practices
• Ability to create web pages that score high in page speed tests
• Frontend build tools like Gulp or Webpack
• CSS compilers like SASS or LESS
