The Creative Group is looking for a Front End Developer for an ongoing contract opportunity. This role will be fully remote, and will be 20-25 hours per week working for a large Technology company.
This Front End Developer will be working on a variety of projects:
Developer duties, responsibilities, and requirements:
• Designing and building websites on the WordPress platform
• Managing all technical aspects of the web development process
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
• Generating custom WordPress and plugins as needed
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design for all websites
• Conducting website performance tests and quality assurance
• Troubleshooting site/content issues
• Conducting WordPress training with clients
• Expert understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Assist sales team with technical components of web project proposals
• Meeting with clients to discuss website design and functionality
