• Lead structural design and build of front-end web applications utilizing industry-leading technologies and best practices
• Work with the Product Owner, Project Managers and key stakeholders to fully understand user experience and visual elements for product enhancement requests
• Work with Software Engineers to develop and implement logical, pattern-based services to drive an efficient and consistent user experience
• Translate conceptual designs to interactive, feature-rich, visually stunning web applications
• Work with QA, DevOps and Engineers on definition and coordination of unit/functional/integrated testing
• Collaborate with DevOps to help identify areas for performance improvement
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to present prototypes and implemented designs
• Contribute to team body of knowledge by educating colleagues on industry developments and new client-side technologies

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering 
• 3+ years of experience in web/software development
• Experience in design/UX
• Solid background in UI design
• Proficiency in web development core principles and languages - HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Strong experience around web design patterns such as single-page-applications, MVC, MVVM
• Proficient working in Microsoft ecosystem of development tools including  Visual Studio (‘15+), VS Code
• Proficient with Javascript frameworks and libraries – AngularJS, Angular, bonus: VueJS, Vuetify, Bootstrap, Kendo UI
• Experience with service-oriented architecture, designing and utilizing RESTful APIs
• Experience building dynamically responsive views that render consistently on popular browsers and form factors
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and some hands-on experience creating web apps hosted on leading cloud platforms preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience with modern version control systems
• Experience with build, test and continuous deployment/integration tools
• Experience working in an Agile-based development environment and knowledge of different methods such as Scrum, Feature-driven development (FDD) and Kanban
