Description: Our client is currently seeking a Web Developer.

Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and create Web sites, in coordination with Federal IT Services, Federal Staff, and adhere to all 508 Compliance policies and procedures on the Drupal Platform
•Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions 
•Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications 
•Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements 
•Understands complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs 
•Understands browser specific compatibility issues 
•knowledge of programming languages, UI/UX principles, graphic design, and search engine optimization 
•Ability to manage concurrent projects while meeting project deadlines 
•Ability to design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value 
•Assist with overhaul of already completed websites, and ability to add new and fresh updated enhancements 
•Ability to communicate with outside organizations such as printers, art services, web designers, and others as requested 
•Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design 
•Ability to simplify complex structures and processes into clear designs and adjust to the audience (researchers, clinicians, patients, lay audience, etc.) 
•Experience working with and meeting design needs of diverse stakeholders (government leadership, technical leads, communications lead, etc.) through iterative processes 
•Develop innovative solutions and pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends 
•Familiar with creating and updating Web sites for DHHS, NIH, and NCI 
•Proficient in: C++, Java, VB.Net, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2010, Web Services, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, Perl/CGI, PHP, SQL/MySQL Databases, JQuery, Adobe Web Premium CS3/4/5, Microsoft Office, Sothink DHTML Menu, Oracle, Window (9X, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7), Linux / UNIX, Macintosh iOS, TCP/IP, DNS/Bind, IMAP, FTP, POP3, SMTP, ACCVerify
