Experience

  • 10+  years of relevant experience
  • PRIMARILY JAVASCRIPT
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, APis (Web Services REST/SOAP)
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Multimedia Content Development
  • Experience building user interfaces and prototypes from wireframes and designs.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub
  • Familiarity with development and debugging tools for cross-browser issues.
  • Knowledge of REST-based APIs
  • Knowledge of Web Application development frameworks
  • Solid understanding of HTML5/CSS3, jQuery and responsive design
  • Solid understanding of relational database systems and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
  • Adequate understanding of Database administration and management of a hosting environment
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets

Duties:

  • Assist in design, layout, and coding of web user interface (UI) for various internally developed applications. Documentation of design, layout and coding of UI is required.
  • Help to create user-friendly design and clear navigation.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices.
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Create and maintain software documentation.
  • Maintain, expand, and scale applicable UI components. Document maintenance of existing UI components. Document expansion of UI components.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies, standards, and trends.
  • Build products using HTML/CSS/JS and other front-end programming languages.
  • Code and deploy applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment. Written documentation of code for applications is required.
  • Document project build and maintenance.
  • Manage work based on given priorities among multiple projects.
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. Documentation on integration efforts required.
  • Cooperate with team members to match visual design intent.
  • Apply aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
