UI Lead, Angular.js

Boston, Mass. Contract to Hire

Our client is a leading IoT company. They are international and in their Boston facility they are looking for a UI lead. This is a 6-12 month position that should go contract to hire. Please read thru this and if interested send a resume. 

Responsibilities

- Collaborate and work with cross-functional engineering team members to turn requirements into prototypes
- Collaborate with Product Designers and Full Stack Developers to maintain design and code standards 
- Translate designs and functional specifications into front end code
- Participate in reviews of business requirements
- Contribute to functional specifications and participate in reviews of feature designs and test plans
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering team members to identify & resolve usability issues, and drive continuous improvement in the ease of installation, management, and use of a product

Experience and Skills

- BS and 5+ years of HTML/CSS and JS development experience
- Experience with the design of web application UI for scalable distributed software
- Experience with modern web technologies: HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular) and JavaScript build tools
- Object Oriented development experience 
- Solid understanding of engineering processes and standards
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine passion for engineering high-quality solutions
