Description

Our client, a fast-growing eLearning provider needs a Technical SEO Manager to join their eCommerce team and support growth efforts. This is an onsite freelance role starting July 8 up, 40 hours a week until late September. There is a possibility for offsite if needed but you must be willing to work onsite from time to time for meetings located in Central West Austin.

The Technical SEO Manager will have a strong knowledge of site migrations, specifically from WordPress to Drupal or a similar open-source content management framework written in PHP. The ideal Technical SEO Manager will have an advanced ability to correct outdated SEO tags, coding and formats to name a few for optimization on Drupal.

Experience Required:
- 5+ years' experience in SEO experience
- 5+ years of experience in the area of organic search
- Ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.
- WordPress, Drupal

Responsibilities Include:
The project is a site migration from WordPress to Drupal. The Technical SEO Manager will handle the migration's SEO elements from a technical perspective which includes the executing of the following:
- SEO Schema - Quality control
- Website structure - Quality control
- Technical SEO audits
- Keyword analysis
- Meta description / tag changes

Nice-to-have experience:
- SEM Rush, Screaming Frog experience
- HTML/CSS working knowledge (not developer level)
- Technical fixes for tag changes, adwords and effective coding for eCommerce
