As a Senior Web UI Developer you will work with financial services clients on their customer facing web applications utilizing the following development technologies; Razor, ASP. NET MVC, HTML5, CSS3/ LESS/ SASS, jQuery and Web Services.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Strong background and demonstrable understanding of Web UI Design and Development concepts
  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience with relevant web technologies (.Net MVC, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience with C#
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to translate design specifications (high-, mid-, or low-level) into efficient, re-usable, maintainable markup and code in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills in both Development and Production (i.e. logs-only) environments
  • Flexibility and the ability to change priorities quickly in response to client requirement changes, production issues, etc.
  • Combine accomplished technical resume with the capabilities to enable developers to achieve company, project, and team goals (related to technology).
  • Enjoys owning responsibility of technical decisions and direction for assigned deliverables.
  • Provide thought-leadership as it relates to emerging technologies.
  • Participate in the evolution of company best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to architecture and development

Other responsibilities of the Web Development role include:

  • Working closely with teams to gather requirements for development of HTML5, and CSS3/ LESS/ SASS artifacts
  • Developing modules using HTML5 CSS3, and jQuery.
  • Providing UI work estimates and timelines for each release
  • Modifying and troubleshooting issues on customer facing portals

Education and Experience

Based on requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessity.

  • Five (5) to Eight (8)+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related subject or equivalent number of years of experience is preferred

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Night and weekend work will be required periodically if projects fall behind, or in support of Production deployments.
