Robert Half is looking for an experienced Solutions Software Engineer for an exciting opportunity to join a Marketing Technology and Operations team! In this role, you will be responsible for custom web application development across a set of applications which help hundreds of marketers do the right operational activities the optimal way. You will provide services to complete strategic software development projects that enable organizational excellence. Primary focus will be placed on the development and enhancement of an automated, self-service workflow application. This would include continuously deploying and maintaining code, ensuring code base works seamlessly with front-end systems, continuously improving the applications UX, and building new integrations that remove duplicative work and drive data accuracy.
Primary Job Responsibilities
• Requirements gathering
• Solution design and wireframing
• Sprint planning
• Troubleshooting, testing, and QA of new features and functionality
• Communicating progress to team members and stakeholders
• Develop web-based applications using JavaScript front end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc.), back end Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express), GraphQL
• Create and maintain NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) database
• Interact with 3rd party API’s (eg., Salesforce, Eloqua, Allocadia, bit.ly) to enhance and automate tasks
• Develop integration leveraging a service-oriented-architecture (e.g., REST API) and various business rules engines including custom rules
• Enhance technical components of key marketing systems (e.g., marketing automation, CRM) used to plan / execute campaigns
• Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing performance
• Create and run manual test cases and implement automated testing wherever possible
• Contribute to detailed technical documentation, including, but not limited to: user stories, data-flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, statements of work, and blog posts
