If you are interested in becoming a part of the Tumi team as the Senior Manager, Social Media and Content, you should have strong skills in the creation and curation of strategic multi-channel content, performance tracking, online engagement, project management, and global team communication. You will be fluent in the best practices of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, as demonstrated by your portfolio of work. You will have also demonstrated your ability to write smart social copy in a rapid response environment, the proven ability to quickly problem solve situations and pivot as needed, and the ability to give productive guidance around projects and priorities.


  • Develop, plan, manage, and implement social media content strategy that reflects the goals of the company’s content marketing, brand identity, and company culture programs in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.
  • Identify opportunities to produce storytelling initiatives, including short and long-form videos, social videos, influencer campaigns, co-branded campaigns or content, and production of on/offline events.
  • Produce compelling, impactful programs that acquire new clients and build loyalty among existing clients.
  • Help nurture relationships with influencers, brands, and partners.
  • Give guidance on best practices and strategy for the numerous social media platforms
  • Craft, curate, publish, and manage social media content focused on everything from creating and writing copy to leading graphic design requests for both rapid response and long-term campaigns.
  • Track and analyze web traffic metrics through understanding of SEO for performance improvements and KPI reporting
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Contribute to and implement digital content and engagement strategy based on the organization’s campaign goals and emerging opportunities
  • Work with 3rd party partners (e.g. Google, Social platforms Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to identify growth and enhancement opportunities and create net new digital programs to drive acquisition and conversion.
  • Align all content and engagement efforts with the brand narrative, personality, and tone.
  • Consistently deploy content marketing and social media activation best practices, leveraging new and emerging platforms, tools, trends, and partnerships.
  • Manage content calendar development, content production, determination of paid support, analytics and optimization, and other related tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to assist in content process development along with the integration of emerging tools and methods throughout the organization.


  • Experience
    • 4+ years of social media experience and/or marketing experience
    • Energy, initiative, a good sense of prioritization.
    • Ability to perform at the highest levels under stress and tight deadlines
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, copy editing, and organizational skills.
    • Deep familiarity with social media audiences, best practices, and analytics.
    • Proven success as a content developer and manager of online and digital campaigns that yield high engagement against measurable analytics
    • Proven excellence activating and engaging new communities, while managing a range of existing communities across social media channels.
    • Experience managing both rapid-development short-term and complex long-term projects.
  • Tools and Platforms
    • Expert on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
    • Experience managing, publishing, and reporting with social media platforms such as Sprout.
    • Experienced in the use of Instagram shoppable posts.
    • Knowledge of meaningful SEO, web traffic, and social platform metrics.
    • Working knowledge of HTML, email marketing, and web publishing through WordPress.
    • Experience with basic graphic design such as Canva or Illustrator.
    • Stellar organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and process.
    • Ability to respond successfully under tight deadlines, working some evening and weekend hours as needed.
