Sr. Director of Marketing and Digital

The Sr. Director of Marketing and Digital Strategy will develop and implement performance-based integrated marketing plans based on market research and trends, consumer insights, and key metrics. This position will serve as a senior member of the Association Marketing & Communications division ensuring a consistent brand experience across all marketing touchpoints, including but not limited to advertising, direct marketing, collateral and digital presence. The Sr. Director will provide marketing counsel across the Association and will oversee the project management capability of the division, ensuring effective and efficient resource allocation to meet the evolving marketing needs of the Association.

Essential Duties

  • Implement marketing and recruitment strategies, including print, radio and TV advertising, website digital marketing, SEO, and sponsorship events for target audiences based on the standard market research data results.
  • Manage all print, radio, outdoor, online and other advertising with graphic designers to ensure graphics and data specifications for advertisements are met.
  • Maintain/Update master marketing and advertisement tracking calendar.
  • Create, manage and execute the social media calendar and platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo and SnapChat.
  • Manage and implement written and visual/multimedia content for digital marketing, including ads, social media networks, etc.
  • Implement email campaigns and other marketing collateral as approved by the Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations.
  • Assist with the analytics and tracking of all marketing campaigns and SEO efforts using HubSpot and Google Analytics, etc. and assist with designing dashboards for digital tracking
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies for a variety of institutional priorities across multiple audience segments.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators for marketing effectiveness ensuring that marketing strategies are grounded in data and analytics. Provide regular reports to the leadership to optimize campaigns and deliver measurable results.
  • Oversee the organization s digital presence including website, email marketing and digital advertising
  • Provide direction and oversight of all enrollment marketing strategies ensuring a clear and consistent brand strategy.
  • Direct and optimize marketing budget and staff resources to optimize effectiveness and efficiency. Oversee the operational management of the marketing and digital team. Assign and manage projects between internal resources and external vendors depending on project needs and allocated budget.
  • Manages external vendor and agency partnerships in support of the marketing, advertising, and digital priorities.
  • Hire, train, and retain a team of marketing, digital, and creative professionals
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, staying informed of industry best practices and innovative strategies

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Manages special projects and/or serve on committees as needed.
  • Assist with key events as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
