Your Role
Help us transform our approach to social media across the company. We are looking for someone to help build our global social media strategy while educating employees on social media best practices. You will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and traffic, and elevate use of social media across business divisions.
You will be working collaboratively with the head of social media and marketing teams from across the company to create our global social media strategy. Along the way, you’ll also keep an eye out for what’s coming next, providing guidance on which channels we should focus our attention on and which we should leave for others to tackle.
You will also act as the administrator of our social media management tool, Sprinklr, supporting day-to-day operations of the tool, training new users and looking for ways to automate processes, making the tool easier for stakeholders to use.
The ideal candidate is social savvy, excited about social media, its trends and developments, and jumps on the opportunity to develop a leading social media program in the life sciences industry. While you don't need to have a scientific background coming into the role, we hope you will spend your time “nerding out” over scientific concepts and thinking about ways to build the topics and communities you discover into our larger social media strategy.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 3+ years’ experience working with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, Sales Force Social, Sprout Social or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications, Science Communications, Strategic Communications or related field
- Strong knowledge of social media content requirements and channels
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to automate processes to more effectively manage outbound and inbound messages
- Able to connect social to other aspects of digital and company strategy
- Able to own, develop, and present strategic social plans and frameworks with minimal oversight
- Confident presenter and storyteller who can effectively convey strategies to internal teams
- Develops and fosters strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience assessing digital media performance including the ability to draw insight from data and communicate recommendations for future campaigns
- Thorough understanding of organization's processes, procedures, and applicable rules and regulations for communications
- Ability to strategically assess new opportunities and make data driven decisions resulting in tangible improvements in performance
- Flexible and able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience with change and stakeholder management
