Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Louisville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Detroit or Phoenix offices offices:
Social Media Specialist
What can you expect?
In this role you’ll be responsible for publishing content on social media platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and Twitter, and secondary focus on channels including Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, to build the organization’s social brand awareness, and engagement with Mercer’s thought leadership.
You’ll also play a key role in the development of Mercer’s 3rd party content for social media, curating content across key topics on a regular basis from a breadth of sources including Mercer’s Influencer Marketing program, in support of driving brand channel growth and performance.
As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll also join our global social media analytics team and be a team member supporting our brand channel reporting, campaign reporting, ad hoc event reporting and more.

We will count on you to:
-
Publish brand channel content daily (original text, images, video, HTML) using Khoros in support of key priorities, along with associated campaign reporting.

Publish Employee Advocacy content daily using Dynamic Signal platform, for colleagues to share through their personal social media channels

Curate third party content from a breadth of sources including external influencers, in support of social media brand channels content mix.

Team member contributing to daily monitoring for brand reputation management, reviewing for customer queries and complaints and outreach to the brand; reporting activity and channeling it to the appropriate team for resolution.

Community management on Mercer LinkedIn channels, focused on activating brand approved content to drive engagement.
What you need to have:
-
Bachelors Degree
-
Strong time management and organizational skills, and very high attention to detail
-
Demonstrable social publishing experience and social analytics tools knowledge
-
Proven ability to work both in a team setting, as well as independently drive programs
What makes you stand out:

Two years of B2B social media publishing experience (Khoros preferred)

Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns

Ability to problem-solver, critical thinker, and creative, who is well versed in managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
