Title: Social Media Reputation Specialist with an Automotive Corporation

Duration:  12/2021 – 5/2021 / potential temp-to-perm

Salary: $17.00 per hour (PAID WEEKLY)

Start Date: 12/2020

Location: Burlington, VT-TEMPORARILY work-from-home; work-from-home TEMPORARILY until COVID passes then will be working on-site at office

Interviews: Video and must submit a writing sample; last interview will require a writing exercise

Hours: This is a 40 hour work week.  Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm EST

Your Role:

The Social Media Reputation Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and responding to the consumer reviews of dealerships reputation sites. With the importance of reputation factoring significantly into a dealership’s success, this team member will help assist a dealer in managing their on-line reputation based on feedback created by their customers on a range of review sites such as Facebook, Yelp!, DealerRater, & Google My Business.

·         Work with a team to monitor and coordinate consumer review responses from a centralized queue. 

·         Communicate recommended responses for negative reviews to our dealer partners. 

·         Provide reputation insights to internal, client-facing team members on the Social and SEO teams.

·         Build constructive relationships with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to, Social Coordinators, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Customer Service teams to provide consumer sentiment insights. 

·         Assist with building the positive review response repository 

 

Required Experience (minimum):

Experience with tight deadlines and a daily content goal

Experience and/or portfolio of material to demonstrate writing fluently and accurately for various purposes

Excellent command of the English language and a good knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation

Genuine interest in client’s products and services, automotive industry and dealership focused

Ability to write in varying styles and assume different tones according client needs

Works independently and as part of a team

Strong research skills

Ability to deal with criticism and feedback

What We Look For (Preferred):

·         Experience 0-2 years. Experience in social media in professional environment, preferred but not required.

·         Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications 

·         Ability to adapt to new technology and learn quickly 

·         Detail oriented and highly organized 

·         Familiarity with the automotive industry and dealerships is beneficial but not required 

·         Works independently and as part of a team  

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

Manager Notes:

·         2  openings

·         tightly skilled; responding to online reviews on behalf of the dealerships; assume the voice of the dealer

·         answering primarily positive reviews and potentially responding to negative reviews through a 3rd party review platform

·         response is about 3 sentences and will be coached on the tailored platform responses; training will cover this and the philosophy behind the responses

·         have good communication and writing skills, not client facing; working out of a cubicle

·         solid written communication skills, good grammar, spelling as they will represent the dealerships

·         comfortable in repetitive tasks and works well with a team and is customer focus

·         must have high work drive and work ethic

·         video interviews

·         WFH during COVID only and will be on-site in Burlington, VT after the pandemic

·         Work schedule is in the EST time zone

·         equipment provided – a windows laptop
