Position Summary:

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, executing and reporting on paid and organic social media campaigns.  This includes building campaigns, selecting target audiences, copy writing, social account management, and real-time social media monitoring. In addition, this position assists with testing and quality control of campaigns, creative assets and resulting functionality.



  1. Build, execute and report on paid and organic social media lead gen campaigns on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube or LinkedIn.

  2. Create, edit and share social media content (blog, Facebook, other)

  3. Maintain and moderate social media presences as defined by clients.

  4. Write social copy and collaborate on graphic and video assets.

  5. Maintain, forecast and track budgets

  6. Build and manage content/editorial calendars. 

  7. Generate weekly and monthly performance reporting against client metrics.

  8. Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns, plus new opportunities for growth and expansion (continuous optimization)

  9. Audit and report on existing client social media presences and competitive activity.

  10. Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends / constantly review the market place to collect intelligence for new online opportunities

  11. Keep pace with social media trends and developments

  12. Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
