The Corporate Marketing Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Social Media Intern.

The Social Media Intern contributes to content strategy including planning calendar, drafting social media posts, measuring social engagement and reporting on social metrics.  The candidate works closely with the social media team who partner with UHS hospitals to deliver relevant, timely content that is engaging to our social audience. Also responsible for adhering to and advocating for UHS social media best practices. UHS places great importance on service excellence – working as a team, demonstrating professionalism and treating everyone as a guest. This is carried over to the social media team as we partner with our facilities to strategically engage and grow their audiences, while also being responsive to ad hoc requests and agile in meeting tight timelines. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contributes to development, delivery and measurement of social media content for UHS hospitals.
  • Helps hospitals achieve business goals through effective, timely, relevant and engaging social media content that grows audience and elevates hospital reputation.
  • Participates in key department initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required.
