Description

Prime destination for weddings, company events and picnics, private getaways, and more, seeks a creative and motivated individual to manage all social media endeavors. 

In this multifaceted, hands-on role you will maintain several social media accounts, write creative original content, attend and document on-site events, and collaborate with our graphic designer to form eye-catching graphic elements – communicating individual brand voice and aesthetic across each respective channel.

An organized, creative, social media savvy professional with exceptional copywriting abilities and cutting-edge photo/video abilities and organizational skills will thrive in this unique and exciting position!

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain current social media pages on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter; create and curate compelling content for 4+ distinct brands

• Create, curate, manage and execute social content calendar, which include initiatives by various departments events and special content

• Design and create visual assets for social media; occasional editing and retouching of photos

• Craft high-quality written content for social media pages, campaigns, and partner websites

• Coordinate with archival, editorial and creative services to secure assets (images, video and copy) as well as developing original content

• Attend events and post supporting social media content in real time

• Be aware of and efficiently use budget to create a variety of social media advertising campaigns

• Identify and engage with known and new audiences by creating innovative storytelling campaigns via current and emerging platforms

• Stay on top of social media trends, changes in the landscape, and best practices to recommend strategies to maximize social media exposure, and inform company of most efficient, changing strategies.

• Analyze and provide weekly reports for all channels and make recommendations for optimization

• Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with other businesses and influencers

Requirements:

• Keen eye for detail and aesthetic

• Bachelor’s degree

• At least 2-3 years of social media, copywriting and (desired) graphic design experience in a professional setting

• At least 1-2 years of photography experience (we provide professional camera)

• Ability to identify and maintain different brand personalities across all channels 

• Experience utilizing social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Planoly, and apps that assist with content editing such as Video Crop, Facetune, Boomerang, Photofy, Ripl, etc.

• Experience with/understanding of Google Analytics, as well as review sites like Google, Yelp, Trip Advisor, and Expedia

•  Excellent writing abilities; tight and concise writing style; sharp editing and proofreading skills

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent project-management abilities

• Creative, strategic, and analytic thinker

• Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills

• Meticulous sense of organization; stellar time-management

• Ability to work autonomously, meeting tight deadlines and turn-around times
