Social Media Community Manager

San Francisco, CA

1 Month Contract

As a Social Media Community Manager for a short term project, your role will be varied.

Key responsibilities will include:

? Day to day engagement activity with the community:

? Interacting with positive/proactive opportunities on brand posts across all channels.

? Responding to passive, positive mentions on Twitter.

? Build strong relationships with community members.

? Campaign focused activities:

? Working in partnership with internal teams eg Marketing to support and deliver    campaign based goals through deepening engagement on content.

? Actively contribute to revenue generation through supporting specific business areas and supporting users through to conversion.

? Being a close partner with Social Marketing to support user generated content discovery.

? Proactively surprising and delighting the community through our corporate gifting

programme.

? Caretaking across brand pages.

? Highlight opportunities or blockers, and be able to recommend improvements to workflows/product/tools to drive success.

? Being a integral part of feedback loops to the business on key activities such as campaign impact, sentiment, and community commentary.

The ideal candidate is tech savvy, lives and breathes social media, and is passionate about building community vibes through driving positive sentiment. You will work in an exciting Global Social Media Team, working closely with colleagues in Marketing and Homes. You will report to the Global Engagement Manager.

We are looking for a fluent English speaker with excellent written skills, specifically pertaining to social media.

Experience Requirements

Essential:

? Previous experience working in a fast paced community focused role, ideally in social media or similar.

? Previous/current role handling 1-1 public facing conversations on behalf of a brand.

Desirable:

? Minimum 1 year experience in online community management, social media advertising, public relations, or marketing agencies and/or experience owning social channels.
