Description

Writes, edits, and proofreads across a variety of online content mediums for the skincare brands Lumière de Vie and Lumière de Vie Hommes. Delivers a consistent tone and voice across all communication platforms.  Manages multiple projects. Must have a previous knowledge or experience with beauty, makeup and/or skin care brands directly related to social media community management and brand imaging. Photography and editing skills a must.

"Anchor"Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • "Anchor"Manage presence in social networking sites, including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and Instagram and seeding content into social applications as needed.
  • Thorough experience with Photoshop or editing software is a must. Will be required to participate in photoshoots for products and design image banners as needed, on weekly, sometimes daily basis.
  • Additionally, needs the stylistic eye for organized product layout shots to be featured on the corporate social media pages. A thorough understanding of acceptable content worthy of 2.5+ million social media following. Will be required to provide samples.
  • Collaborates with team members on weekly/monthly editorial calendar; contributes to blog 3-4 times/week.
  • Collaborates with Beauty Product team and LDV line creator daily.
  • Manages the content and editorial publishing of guest bloggers that write for the beauty properties for social and corporate blog.
  • Creates weekly content schedules for Lumière de Vie brands social media channels including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ & LinkedIn, and Pinterest 
  • Become an advocate of the company in social media spaces, and online social groups managing engaging dialog and answer questions where appropriate
  • Monitor effectiveness benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs. Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
  • Utilize good judgment in safeguarding the company image in responses and outreach in all social media outreach. 
  • Ability to engage and communicate with celebrities, company executives and beauty influencers professionally on a daily basis.
  • Develops copy for all advertising needs to effectively present products and brand.
  • Promotes and advertises for company events happening both in the digital and physical world.
  • Writes effectively for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to increase organic search engine rankings, drive traffic, lift brand awareness and grow sales
  • Creates content suitable for social networking and digital media trends to drive traffic to websites.
  • Produces relevant and useful branded content across online and offline channels to ensure consistency and relevancy.
  • Drafts original web-based copy for a consumer audience to incorporate creativity and increase usability.
  • Collaborates with designers, beauty and skincare product managers, and executives from concept through execution
  • Participates in the creative to effectively develop of online campaigns.
  • Remains abreast of current events and trends in the social media industry to maintain competitive edge.
  • Generates fresh copy to effectively maintain each brand's unique voice and clearly differentiates company products from competitors’ products.
  • Maintains consistency of company’s own unique in-house style across a variety of outlets
  • Participates in the content production of email marketing and various online projects, when necessary.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to travel as needed between Miami, New York, Greensboro
  • Ability to travel as needed for corporate functions and social media conferences
  • Mandatory attendance at the companies 2 corporate events each year.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
  • Can help on other brands or additional projects as needed

Education and Experience

"Anchor"•Bachelors degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.

•5+ years of experience in media/social media and or journalistic industry.

•Or combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.
