Social Media and CRM Coordinator

The Social Media and CRM Coordinator is responsible for representing TIMBUK2 on our social media platforms, and working within a close team on the execution on multiple digital marketing efforts.  You are a storyteller and know how to adjust your communication style based on different platforms, and is not afraid to learn, while bringing new ideas to the table. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Be the driving force for all organic social efforts.

  • Write compelling copy and curate the social presence of the brand.

  • Involved with all social marketing content development including press releases, content, photos and online promotions.

  • Create, enhance or manage needed content for all forms of media as needed or assigned.

  • Develop strong relationships with key sources of fresh content.

  • Support the E-Commerce and Digital Marketing team members on many different projects.

  • Manage email marketing campaigns end-to-end

  • Understand and help develop segmentation strategies; use internal data resources to filter and target appropriate segments.

Job Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of marketing advertising and promotion. Particularly social media marketing.  A point of view and knowledge of email marketing best practices is a nice-to-have.

  • Good understanding of writing style or tone based on the audience you are speaking to.

  • Exceptional time management and planning skills.

  • Ability to work within various social media platforms.

  • Prior experience in a marketing position preferred.  Start-up or small team experience is a bonus as you will be working with some independence.   

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to look at projects and issues in a creative manner and develop engaging concepts and media in all forms.

  • Ability to work confidently and independently while representing TIMBUK2 in a professional manner.


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2 - 3 years experience in Ecommerce and/or Digital Marketing team.

  • Knowledge of social and email best practices and success metrics.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to keep others informed and up-to-date; able to organize/prioritize.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and requests with strong attention to detail.
