WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Team Leader position leads a group of fellow SEO team members in addition to managing and developing marketing efforts for his assigned clients. The Team Leader will have direct responsibility for their team's daily performance, including but not limited to quality and performance targets set forth by the Digital Advertising Manager and serves as the liaison between his team and management. The Team Lead position is ultimately responsible for the overall quality of service delivered by the team members and customer satisfaction. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and guidance to fellow team members #LI-TP1
  • Responsible to lead, coach, mentor and develop a group of analysts
  • Training – Directly responsible for providing ongoing training to all analysts within their team
  • Prepare team statistics daily, weekly and monthly
  • Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from Marketing, Product and Engineering partners to push for technical SEO best practices
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine and internet marketing industry trends and developments and report changes as needed
  • Manage communications during implementation 
  • Provide monthly customer updates regarding managed SEO performance 
  • Naturally optimize sites for search engine optimization
  • Monitor and report progress to clients on a monthly basis 
  • Manage relationships with web developers and marketing teams to properly implement SEO best practices in coding and campaigns
  • Look for and create opportunities to increase domain authority through backlinks, blogs, press releases, and other mediums

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Minimum 5 Years of technical Search Engine Optimization experience 
  • Experience providing SEO strategy and results to clients, up to and including CMO’s
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Experience with Google Custom Search, Google Search Console and Google Analytics and experience creating and maintaining project schedules using project management systems
  • Leadership abilities 
  • Experience working with back-end SEO elements such as robots.txt, metadata and site speed optimization to raise website performance
  • Experience using Screaming Frog, SEMRush, MOZ, and other SEO tools
  • Adequate knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience working in fast paced, deadline driven role 
  • Knowledge of the Internet and prior experience utilizing the web as a marketing vehicle 
  • Demonstrated success at end-to-end execution of internet marketing strategies 
  • Prior experience in multi-family or single family residential a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Skilled at using SalesForce.com (or similar), Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong project management skills 
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed
