Senior Web Developer Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for an Sr. Web Developer to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Boca Raton, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops websites and Internet related applications by performing the following duties.
  • Uses development technologies such as the Microsoft .NET framework, ASP.NET, MVC, and Visual C#.
  • Performs various design, coding/ programming and test/QA tasks, such as design or development of web front-end, back-end web-based applications, and web/Internet services.
  • Interfaces and communicates with internal and external teams as needed for project review and to get required technical support for application feature interactions and connectivity.
  • Performs end-to-end testing, including server components.
  • Participates in peer reviews and works closely with other developers and QA to ensure high quality releases.
  • Analyzes requirements for features and requests and proposes development strategy.
  • Develops new, and enhance existing applications in a collaborative, structured environment.
  • Trouble-shoot diagnose and fix issues and defects.
  • Works under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
  • Participates in and contributes to Agile/Scrum process and all related meetings and activities; diligently uses the ALM tool
  • Moderate skills with high level of proficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or seven + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4 to 7 Years hands on experience with Microsoft.NET technologies (including MS MVC, ASP.NET, C# and Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or later).
  • 5 years hands on experience working with MS SQL Server, including development and design using SQL and T-SQL.
  • 5+ years of web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Angular, JSON, REST/WEB API, SOAP and XML.
  • Familiar with concept and object persistence frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SOLID and SOA principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of location based technologies, GPS, Mapping, Cellular devices, mobile responsive design a plus.
