Our client is currently seeking a PR Account Executive

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the strategic aspects for two to three clients and closely oversee day-to-day program execution by the team while personally contributing program deliverables and outcomes 
  • Target media, bloggers and analysts fueled by subject matter knowledge and a history successfully placing coverage on technology topics 
  • Secure coverage with writers and bloggers writing for top tier business, industry and /or consumer publications dealing with technology topics 
  • Write press releases, articles, case studies, papers, blog posts and compelling pitches (no less than four years writing on technology and/or innovation topics) 
  • Drive strategic and tactical enhancements of social media and social community engagements 
  • Drive strategic and tactical enhancements of content marketing and search marketing activities 
  • Manage industry analyst relations 
  • Manage the people and processes required to deliver measurable PR results for a client 
  • Mentor, coach and teach by example the less experienced members of your teams 
  • Serve as a valued strategic advisor to your client contacts 
  • Set aggressive objectives across all aspects of the program and motivate the team to achieve those goals 
  • Manage event marketing such as industry conferences/shows, securing speaking engagements, sponsored events and webinars 
  • Modify communications programs to achieve lead generation and sales objectives 
  • Integrate PR programs with other marketing and sales functions be they internal to the client or other outsourced partners 
  • Attend industry events which may include night and weekends 
  • Travel up to 10%

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years’ experience working with technology clients at a PR firm (some portion of that time doing PR from inside a technology company will be considered) 
  • No less than four years writing on technology and/or innovation topics 
  • Proven expertise in developing press releases, articles, case studies, papers, blog posts, social posts and compelling media pitches Track record producing media coverage in both business publications and trade outlets 
  • Flexible schedule including 5-10% travel, some nationally 
  • Attend industry events which may include night and weekends 
  • Experience managing a PR program and team within a budget while delivering successful business outcomes for clients 
  • Commitment to growing  to insure a long term relationship with our company and clients 
  • Passion for technology
