Adecco is currently assisting a local client, DoorDash, in their search to find an Operations Associate (Shift Lead role) in Los Angeles, CA. This is a temporary full/part time contract.

Pay: $21.50/hr.

What You'll Do...
We're looking for motivated individuals who love delighting customers and thrive in fast-paced, physical environments. This role will be working with a 3rd party grocery delivery service provider. This role will focus on overseeing the shifts and worth with a number of shoppers during the shift to help them achieve their daily tasks. 

  • Oversee the shifts. Check the attendance of shoppers on shifts and report back to the team for late/no-shows. Aid shoppers during the shift.
  • Manage shift set-up and closure. Manage the store set-up and closure daily. This includes organizing the stationeries/devices, making sure the devices have battery power, report items that need replenishment, etc.
  • Coordinate with delivery people. Organize the staging area. Help the delivery people to find the correct bag for the pickup.
  • Help improve operations.  Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.
  • Picking, packing, and staging.  Accurately pick items in customers' orders, pack items in bags, and prepare bags for handoff to couriers.

  • Minimum requirements:

  • Ability to work 20-40 hours/week onsite.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 49 lbs and stand for 8 hours with or without accommodation
  • Meet physical demands of grocery retail work.
  • Track record of success in a warehouse, restaurant, or retail job
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Positive, self-motivated
  • Attention to detail
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Proficient in basic computer programs like Google Sheets
  • Flexible availability which includes nights and weekend
