Florida Atlantic University's Center for eLearning Department is seeking an Online Marketing & CRM Specialist, Boca Raton, FL.

The FAU Online Marketing & CRM Specialist is primarily responsible for responding to phone and web generated inquiries. The role will drive new student enrollment, support the increase of online program registration for FAU's Center for eLearning, manage the day-to-day operations of our CRM and steer our drip campaigns. In addition, they will brainstorm and execute creative growth strategies, conduct competitive research, and craft innovative marketing objectives.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Manages the process for execution and on-time delivery of complex, highly dynamic
  • promotional email campaigns.
  • Assures quality during the deployment of promotional emails with an exceptional attention to
  • detail
  • Provides assistance and key recommendations for any deliverability issues that arise with
  • key email providers.
  • Serves as a resource for prospects by answering FAU Online related questions.
  • Manages leads by making calls, sending informational emails, building personal
  • relationships and recording prospect interaction details
  • Actively manages, reports and tracks prospects' progression through the Lead Generation
  • Maintains the CRM database by adding new information, updating existing information
  • and deleting obsolete data.
  • Completes reports, lists, labels and custom data collections to support the work of the
  • Center for eLearning.
  • Builds and executes social media strategy through platform determination, benchmarking, campaign
  • messaging and audience identification.
  • Produces editorial and social media calendars with engaging bi-weekly content (original text,
  • images, video or HTML) in the form of digital media and blog messaging, that will build meaningful
  • connections and encourage community members to take action.
  • Creates visual concepts, by using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or
  • captivate student prospects.
  • Coordinates video coverage of student events to create a sense of community for
  • prospective online students (e.g. livestreaming, slidesharing or podcasting).
  • Responds to all FAU Online web chat and guest social media comments, posts and
  • questions in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collects visitor data and analyzes interactions, utilizing this information to create
  • comprehensive reports while measuring the performance of CeL's marketing strategies and
  • social media campaigns, against enrollment goals (closed loop ROI, media KPIs).
  • Provides copy writing and editing services, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required.
  • Minimum of two years direct work experience crafting content and managing social properties (Facebook,
  • Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), and working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in a corporate environment required.
  • Experience with online marketing and online lead generation funnels required.
  • Must be results driven and able to work independently to achieve set goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position.
  • Must also have excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex client needs and diverse personalities required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (requires diplomacy, tact and a clear, courteous and professional
  • manner) required.

Ability to travel to multiple campuses as needed required.
