Description

Our client is looking for a Marketing & Social Media Manager in e-commerce who can oversee marketing operations and SEO across multiple platforms. The Marketing & Social Media Manager will be required to generate ideas and strategies to help boost visibility and lifestyle branding across all platforms.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $70K – $80K

Position Overview: In the Marketing & Social Media Manager role, you will work collaboratively with other members of the Marketing Team to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns for all digital and social media channels. This includes all internal and external websites, Facebook & Instagram analytics, email marketing, and promotional campaigns by using research and analytics to support those strategies and measure results.

Responsibilities of the Marketing & Social Media Manager:

  • Write, edit, proofread and disseminate content via email, websites, social media, print, and all other channels to promote brand
  • In collaboration with business partners, analyze consumer data to further identify market segments, analyze effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and develop action plans that address areas of opportunity
  • Analyze effectiveness of marketing campaigns on all channels by identifying and tracking appropriate metrics to measure success and inform future efforts
  • Derive insights using data that can be leveraged to create revenue and brand value
  • Grow downstream channels into a strong and profitable revenue stream for the company
  • Manage site metrics to ensure best-in-class site performance
  • Work with team to coordinate the launch all product releases – manage the flow of product onto the site and on other various channels
  • Manage web experience + all digital customer touch points
  • Develop programs to drive customer lifetime value and brand engagement
  • Build influencer campaigns to target key opportunities to promote brand awareness
  • Conduct market research by creating surveys and questionnaires

Qualifications for the Marketing and Social Media Manager:

  • Extensive experience with marketing strategy, analytics, and execution, particularly in the areas of integrated marketing communications, content marketing, email marketing, social media, and multichannel marketing
  • A passion and experience for creating effective and experiential digital worlds
  • Strong understanding of online consumer habits
  • Excellent listening and time management skills with the capability to address difficult situations with patience and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate directly with members & colleagues and develop & maintain trusting relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required, experience with research methods and other applications as required, and must be comfortable learning new applications & technologies
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Experience with HTML and/or CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, preferred, photography and videography skills are a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce driven Marketing initiatives

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field (MBA preferred)
