  • Manages the publishing of core content for the Global Brand Content Marketing organization
  • Develops and implements content plans to serve the business objectives
  • Stays abreast of changes in the content marketing and web publishing industry
  • Creates strong relationships with US and Global marketing teams
  • Publishes all content for the US and Global content hubs with strong attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of web publishing and content management
  • Contributes to technical problem identification and Jira ticket creation when issues arise with the content management system
  • Ensures that articles have been through all the proper channels and tools before publication (eg. SEO team, SEO Clarity, copy editing, strategy review, design, localization)
  • Understands the QuickBooks funnel strategy and recognizes appropriate places for calls to action (CTAs), linking, and conversion opportunities
  • Lays out articles in a way that’s visually appealing, with close attention to detail Is meticulous with copy, components, and article requests
  • Creates images for web in correct sizes with optimization
  • Ensures everything needed for publishing is pulled together before deadline, and publishes to the set deadline Is proactive in using tools and search to supply the best language and internal links if they’re missing
  • Proactively identifies localized internal link prospects
  • Completes Airtable tasks and notifies the proper channels about content publication
  • Pulls data from existing analytics/reports to inform regular content performance assessments across global content sites
  • Helps content teams execute A/B and time/time tests on CTAs, messaging, and other components
  • Update Hreflang spreadsheet to ensure all localized articles are mapped appropriately
  • Reviews published articles to ensure that all internal links work as planned, all H2/H3s are appropriately assigned; all images have appropriate alt-text, etc
  • Properly tag and score all content with a variety of characteristics
  • Write meta descriptions, SEO headlines, and alt text when needed
  • Update Airtable database with the current state of all content projects
  • Help coordinate localization processes
  • Compress and resize images for the hero and throughout the text
  • Strategic use of calls to action (CTAs) where appropriate
  • Adhere to follow/no-follow guidelines
  • Assist with content migration and refresh projects as needed


  • Great communication skills: asks questions when unsure; is proactive, reaches out if information is incomplete or unclear
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data management
  • Meticulous about meeting or beating deadlines
  • Experience with SEO
  • Basic proficiency in HTML; ability to identify and articulate buggy experiences that need attention from a developer, basic problem-solving
  • Open to feedback and flexible when urgent needs arise
  • Experience with Photoshop and image selection; eye for layout and design
  • Experience uploading content using WordPress or other CMS
  • Ability to pick up new tech/tools quickly
  • Experience with project management software like Airtable
  • Comfortable working prescriptively with words in other languages
  • Is helpful, positive, open to feedback, and a strategic thinker Helps global content managers with content culling projects
  • Basic design skills (ie can follow the template to create a graphic with accounting formulas as an in-text visual)
  • Basic copy editing skills (knows AP style and can edit for grammar, errors, and V&T)
  • Not afraid of a good VLookup or Pivot table: can wrangle spreadsheets
  • Is highly competent and detail-oriented with the CMS, and happy to help with sometimes repetitive CMS tasks
  • Tasks ~16 articles upload/week (~15-90 minutes/article)
