Position Description

This role offers the opportunity to lead product awareness and seasonal programs for the largest revenue driving sector within Company: retail. You'll be responsible for showing how Company is critical in upper-funnel consumer journeys -- being the first place shoppers turn to in order to discover new brands and products. Additionally, you'll develop high-touch global programs for seasonal moments year-round, to highlight how Company helps connect retailers to hundreds of millions of users that shop on Company every day, across the shopping journey.

You're a strong storyteller that weaves consumer insights, industry research, and product proof points into launch announcements to let the industry know why and how Company is invested in building upper-funnel solutions for brands and retailers.

You'll also use your creativity to drive global seasonal programs to drumbeat how Company helps brands and retailers over key shopping seasons around the world. You'll help develop integrated campaigns spanning articles, customer stories, press activation, sales collateral, events, and more.

In the role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with marketing teammates at the global, regional and local level, and you'll partner closely with sales and marketing teams from other product areas that also have the same stories to tell, as well as Product and PR leads.

Responsibilities will vary depending on priorities but may include:

  • Developing positioning, messaging, and value proposition for Company's upper-funnel marketing solutions for the retail industry
  • Designing and executing multi-channel campaigns to drive sales readiness and client engagement
  • Own our holiday efforts by developing narratives and creative assets globally, and activate across campaigns, events and other marketing programs

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory

  • BA or BS Degree
  • 5 years experience in product marketing, or marketing communications.
  • Project Management
  • Experience in working closely with executives to develop a leading share of voice across industry publications, external events, press etc.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Comment:This position will overall assist retailers prepare for the holiday season by ensuring collateral is up to date for the sales team. This person will also work with the research team to gather information on consumer behavior and trends. Another team the Marketing Manager will work with is PR to assist in sending messages to radio stations, news stations, etc. Retail marketing experience would be extremely beneficial to be successful as well as storytelling. The products are globally and not just targeting audiences in the Americas, but also in EMEA & APAC. 5 years experience minimum to be considered.
