Marketing & Business Development Coordinator

Our client is a nationally recognized digital strategy, design, and development firm. They design and build enterprise-level websites for higher education, large non-profit, and commercial clients. Their core expertise is in the higher education and non-profit space where they’ve been pioneers of human-centered design for over two decades.

As a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator, you will play an important support role in the company’s integrated and collaborative approach to business development and marketing by helping:

  • Qualify and nurture inbound leads to engage with the company’s services
  • Uniquely position the company in a highly competitive industry
  • Produce high quality content that serves our industry, our partners, and our clients
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Business Development teams

Responsibilities:

Content Marketing

  • Create, review, and revise a wide variety of marketing & business development materials that resonate with our target audiences (case studies, blog posts, print collateral)
  • Ensure content is consistent with the company’s brand voice, style, and tone
  • Manage content publishing calendars
  • Monitor key metrics and share analytical insights
  • Generate creative ideas to help optimize the company’s content marketing strategy

Business Development Support

  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Compile background research to help shape proposal and pitch strategy
  • Assist with proposal creation/editing, as well as SOWs and pitch decks
  • Research competitors and industry trends
  • Ensure the company’s CRM, RFP Calendar, and other platforms are up to date and accurate
  • Assist with scheduling internal and external meetings

Social Media Marketing

  • Generate high quality digital content that encourages engagement
  • Manage, organize, and coordinate a social media calendar
  • Social listening

Email Marketing

  • Assist with newsletter production, landing pages, and email campaigns
  • Manage lists and marketing automation
  • Evaluate email marketing performance

Event Marketing

  • Conference planning, organizing, and managing sponsorships, budgets, speaker presentations, and overall presence of the company at multiple industry events through the year
  • Webinar planning and execution

Website Support

  • Interview internal subject matter experts to gather information and write case studies to promote our client work
  • Write, edit, and promote the company’s blog
  • Assist with content production and curation for the company’s website
  • Perform quality and brand standard checks on all content and keep content timely, engaging, and consistent
