We are looking for a versatile, hard-working, and talented individual to join our marketing team in our Fresno, CA office. Primary responsibilities of the Marketing Associate are to help implement and execute our marketing, product marketing and events strategies.

As in integral part of the marketing team reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, you will manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the marketing department runs smoothly. You will provide support to various marketing team members and work cross-functionally with sales, business development, advertising/creative, client services, admin, IT, product management and outside partners. 

Learning objectives are achieved through training, observation, and “learning-by-doing” with constructive feedback. Ultimately, you will gain experience in general marketing, product marketing, digital marketing and content marketing. This is a full-time position which offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks, such as schedule meetings, manage data entry, update marketing databases and SharePoint sites.
  • Work within our Marketing Automation Software (HubSpot) on tasks that can include: creation of email and web/landing page, social media posts, blog posts and web forms to support campaigns.
  • Prepare reports on effectiveness of campaigns utilizing Salesforce, HubSpot and Google Analytics
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing and advertising promotional activities as needed (e.g. email, marketing campaigns, competitive research, customer segmentation, content creation, social media, webinars, website, lead nurturing)
  • Update company database(s) and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Assist Events Manager with execution of internal and external events
  • Organize and update Marketing calendar
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Design and Content team members on creation of corporate promotional material and product support materials (e.g. brochures, emails, webpages, newsletters, PowerPoint slides, videos)

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • 2+ years’ previous experience as a marketing associate, marketing assistant, marketing coordinator or related field
  • Basic understanding of different marketing techniques and strategies
  • Positive, can-do attitude and problem solver with ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and strategies
  • Basic reporting skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (PPT, Word and Excel)
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, marketing automation, Google Ad, Google Analytics, digital display advertising, blog tools, email tools, social media, webinar software.) This knowledge can be basic, but a strong desire to learn and utilize these tools is required
  • Desire to work in the field of marketing
  • Creative thinker, detail-oriented, a quick learner, meticulous
  • Flexible in work functions + duties
  • Ability to work with and take direction from a variety of colleagues and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks + meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork skills. Desire to collaborate with team, but can also work individually

Must be able to focus for long periods of time at a computer screen given the nature of healthcare IT marketing

Additional Highly Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with Marketing Automation Software (HubSpot preferred)
  • Marketing / Communications degree

Work Environment:

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. Travel as needed.
