We are currently looking for a Content Writer for a client of ours in the northwest metro. The Content Writer will be partnering with the Content Editorial team to help enrich our websites with new blog posts, product launches, editorial/advertorial stories, how-to guides and social media copy. The Content Writer's responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. If you?re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we?d like to meet you. Ultimately, the Content Writer will deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost our brand awareness. The ideal Content Writer should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. This individual must have a strong interest for interior design and have worked on content that focuses on art, design and/or interior design and must have a high desire to work in a fun, open and collaborative entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities: ? 30% Blog/Editorial/Advertorial Content Stories: Identify, research, and write inspiring and engaging stories for The Tile Shop?s blog based on trend and product priorities, incorporating keywords, links, products, and photos. Use analytics to promote posts and adjust strategies. Deliver blog-related marketing materials (social media, emails, digital category pages, etc.) according to the content calendar, working closely with designers and marketing team members ? 30% Social Media: Create weekly copy for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter posts, incorporating calls to action and style inspiration. Work closely with marketing team to deliver creative. ? 30% Miscellaneous Marketing Materials: Website product, how-to and content pieces, email, paid media, internal product launch copy and print initiatives ? 10% PR and Influencers: Write press releases and research and reach out to media and influencers for events and other initiatives Knowledge, Skills Abilities: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: ? Always editing their work to maintain a consistent and clear brand voice across all mediums ? Advocate for brand voice and ensuring it is upheld to the highest standards ? High attention to detail ? Knows how-to effectively problem solve ? Works with a strong sense of optimism, urgency and passion for meeting and exceeding deadlines
