The Manager, Graphic & Web Design aids the Marketing team in managing the overall design activities for PrimePay. This individual leads the design team, overseeing all design elements, including graphic and web design. This position also is a significant contributor to the development and creation of PrimePay’s design assets.
In addition to a solid understanding of print and UI, this individual understands the importance of visual storytelling. The role is expected to come up with innovative ideas that set PrimePay apart from its competition. This role works with the Marketing team to reach team goals as well as drive awareness, engagement, and conversions through strategy and execution.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creation of dynamic graphic design elements to enhance the PrimePay brand across all marketing channels
- Elements include but are not limited to design of: PrimePay website, sales materials, promotional items, internally and externally branded communications, presentation materials, trade show support, and social media imagery
- Leadership of and collaboration with our design team to define and implement design direction, visuals, and experience
- Develop, execute and strengthen PrimePay’s print and online marketing
- Manage and create compelling and strong design collateral, including digital and print assets, sales collateral, presentations, and imagery and icons
- Develop the UI (look and feel) of new website features. This includes element functionalities, overall layout, page relationships and logic, navigation, visual design and graphics, etc
- Developing visual website design from concept to partnership for execution
- Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to PrimePay’s communications and assets.
- Manage flow of design projects and ensure timelines are met
- Maintain brand guidelines and contribute to the brand’s visual identity
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage people and project flows
- Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
- Innovative and progressive thought process
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Aptitude for presenting designs or concepts to various stakeholder
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with strong self-starter skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Advertising or related field
- 5 years of experience in Graphic and Web Design
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or other visual design tools
- Proven UI experience, from concept to execution
- Stays up-to-date on the latest trends, techniques and technologies
- Required: A strong portfolio that provides insight into all of these requirements
