As a Manager, Design & Web Strategy (UI/UX) you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards.
Will lead execution for a variety of tasks with tight time limits while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Will provide guidance and methodologies, designing web components and helping to design interactive, multi-platform user interfaces in collaboration with the creative and content team and key partners to visually convey a message, idea or concept. Will be tasked with helping to lead the end-to-end website and digital strategy from a user experience prospective.
A specialist in UI/UX with deep curiosity, including extraordinary communication mastery, the person in this role should be an innovative and success driven problem solver, at ease in working in a fluid environment. Knows the latest on standard methodologies and is a trusted advisor on the consumer experience, while able to design and implement with best practices in mind.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Implement a consumer-first, end-to-end approach for the aesthetic design and experience of HGV’s digital platforms
• Improve the look and feel of emails, landing pages, digital display, websites, etc.
• Responsible for helping lead the web strategy for HiltonGrandVacations.com
• Create overall concepts for the user experience, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy
• Analyze customer responses and website data
• Design the aesthetics to be implemented across digital platforms, from the layout menus and drop-down options, to colors and fonts
• Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management
• Concept, design and implement digital design
• Assist with email design and creation or other digital assets when needed. Work hand in hand with the creative and content team and Account Managers and collaborate with internal clients
• Collaborate with designers and copy teams to elevate overall standards of digital creativity and the brand
• Lead digital media projects by understanding business and communications goals and translating them into creative solutions
• Handle and prioritize multiple projects while meeting design objectives and timelines
• Work effectively with established timelines while maintaining a positive and detail oriented demeanor
• Flourish in a fast-paced environment and be a motivated self-starter
