SUMMARY

The Graphic Production Artist is responsible for strengthening the brand positioning by fulfilling requests for versioned collateral designed to reach both the current student population and student prospects.  The position collaborates not only across departments within the Campus Support Center but also at the campus level to ensure delivery of compliant interactive and effective messaging as it pertains to the Concorde brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Design, version and execute marketing materials promoting Concorde’s brand strategy with the goal of stimulating inquiry generation and building a viable student population.

  2. Help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design.

  3. Deliver regularly refreshed and appropriate content for student portal, Concorde portal and other platforms to drive search results and positively impact inquiry flow.

  4. Use analytics to help drive design direction.

  5. Manage schedules and communicating changes in design specifications to ensure smooth transitions between concept creation and production.

  6. Review proofs of marketing signage, catalogs, mailers, and other material for content and accuracy.

  7. Scope and create templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in some of their posting on social media, the blog, email, and other channels.

  8. Manage other design needs such as presentations, signage, and trade show collateral as needed.

  9. Collaborate with marketing and product marketing teammates to support our website design and content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more).

  10. Build relationships with campus leadership and associates to develop continuous content pipeline for internal and external communication.

  11. Develop effective processes with agencies and vendors to make sure high production standards and schedules are maintained.

  12. Remain current on trends in design and expand/improve as appropriate to meet metrics.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field and 2 to 3 years’ experience in print design within a design firm, ad agency or in-house creative group.

  • Proven experience with inbound marketing

  • Experience in both traditional and digital collateral

  • Experience in packaging design and page layout

  • Knowledge of print production and the different printing processes.

  • Past work either as an in-house designer or at a marketing agency. Work samples required.

  • Experience designing for CMS platforms. This position must create assets for our web team that are mobile-, tablet-, and desktop-friendly and provide a user experience that fits on all three screens.

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite required.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a major plus.

  • A very open and flexible attitude/personality and the willingness to do a variety of tasks within the Creative Services

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and operate effectively within a team.

None.

OTHER COMMENTS/REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel when required.
