My client is looking for a Director of Marketing & Communications to join the senior management team.The candidate must be a results-driven professional with a focus on leading integrated marketing and communications strategies across several channels as well as developing programs for customer acquisition/retention while supporting sales initiatives, revenue growth, client experience and public relations.

Strategic Planning - Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive marketing plan while working closely with each Line-of-Business to help them achieve their goals. This includes the development and execution of programs that support the onboarding process, sales objectives, foster lead generation/referrals, increases retention and drives overall customer value.

Client Journey/Experience - develop a customer-centric marketing approach that listens, understands and addresses customer needs and looks for ways to improve the overall customer experience. Responsible for assessing customer experience and implementing Customer Engagement Survey to establish Net Promoter Scores (NPS). Position must have strong working knowledge of market research, understand industry and changing customer trends and how they could impact the business. This individual needs to be analytical and interpret consumer feedback in order to gain insight into key customer behavior drivers and develop marketing programs that eliminate barriers to conversion and engagement.

CRM and database marketing strategy: Partner with the business analytics and Digital Bank teams to develop customer segments, profitability and predictive models to drive new revenue growth programs and product development. Establish a culture that fosters a “test and learn” environment where results are measured, risk is mitigated and ROI is respected.

Marketing Communications - Manage off-line and on-line communication materials and assets (inclusive of brochures, internal and customer newsletters, point-of sale materials, branch signage and branding, corporate website, events, social media & mobile platforms. Position is also expected to support events, fund raisers, branch openings and local community events.

Creative Services – Manage external partners/agencies to assist in the development of the brand’s guidelines, advertising campaigns/messaging/public relationship initiatives. Ensure messages are consistent with both strategic goals and the companies bran overall market positioning.

Project Management – Strong project management skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is required. Tactical programs would include targeted and personalized new customer acquisition campaigns, cross-selling campaigns to deepen customer relationships and retention programs.
