seeks a talented, forward-thinking and innovative professional adept at developing
and implementing digital strategies in a dynamic environment. We are looking
for someone with ideas, enthusiasm and vision to take Amalgamated Bank’s digital
marketing to the next level.

The Digital
Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing initiatives aligned with the
bank’s digital channels including email, the website, the intranet, paid
digital, social and search engine marketing and analysis and optimization of
the above. The position’s focus is to support and develop digital distribution
of marketing content, and to grow, maintain and track customer and employee

based in our headquarters in the Chelsea section of New York City.

Essential Job

  • Manage
    email campaigns across business units to grow customer engagement and
  • Act as
    the day-to-day point of contact for website support including maintenance,
    content and development.
  • Manage,
    track and report on SEO, website analytics and campaign analytics, and test and
    develop strategies for improvement.
  • Work
    with internal teams to develop simultaneous digital marketing campaigns for
    multiple business lines. Develop, plan, and execute paid digital marketing
    strategies and initiatives, including SEM, paid social media, search and
    display advertising campaigns.
  • Work
    with product and brand teams to continuously test and improve campaign
    creative, copy, and audience targeting to ensure campaign optimization.
  • Conduct
    ongoing reviews with key stakeholders, including Legal and Compliance, to
    ensure proper risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Build
    and maintain the content and user experience of a new intranet.
  • Conduct
    quantitative and qualitative research and regular reporting and market
    intelligence analytics. Analyze cross-channel attribution performance to mine
    campaign performance insights and drive future campaign testing.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of technical digital marketing experience
  • 5+ years of digital communications, marketing and
    enterprise email management experience in financial services or other related
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute
    marketing strategies with a proven track record of driving success across
    digital platforms
  • Deep quantitative skills; ability to analyze &
    develop complex business/marketing models for sophisticated acquisition
    programs; ability to direct and guide team members to do the same; work with
    business lines, vendors and stakeholders to provide key analysis
  • Strong knowledge of advertising media, sales
    collateral development, direct mail and email marketing, content marketing,
    multichannel campaign management and marketing measurement, and analytical
  • Ability to understand the risk and compliance
    implications of marketing strategies, projects and products and to recommend
    business decisions taking these considerations into account
  • Ability to produce programs within predetermined
    timeframes while simultaneously managing multiple projects
  • Ability to facilitate groups and develop effective
    working relationships with senior level management and junior staff
  • Website development and content management
    experience preferred
  • Effective, professional written and verbal
    communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving skills; ability to look
    at every problem with fresh eyes and seek new insights and solutions in lieu of
    simply repeating previous solutions
