The Global Marketing team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of brands by defining, creating, and delivering exceptional multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results.

What will I be doing?

As the Digital Content Editor, you will have the exciting task of leading the content creation and content execution for the Hilton Suggests blog (hiltonsuggests.Hilton.com). You will manage our volunteer Team Member blogger program, identifying VIP bloggers and building a content calendar based on our enterprise marketing and social media objectives. In this role, you will also edit submitted content and write content based on SEO white space opportunities. You will audit existing content for accuracy and ensure content is not only relevant, but also authentic for our guest. Additionally, you will focus on ensuring the UX and bookability of our blog is optimized by working with key stakeholders, including our design and portfolio teams, to execute on site improvements. As the program grows and changes, you will be responsible for implementing new strategies set by the Enterprise Social Media leadership team.

More specifically, you will:

  • Edit all submitted blogs and ensure they ladder up to our marketing business objectives and align with our Hilton Suggests tone and voice.
  • Post all blogs in WordPress with the proper SEO keywords and techniques.
  • Build a content calendar for our blog that ensures our rich content is relevant to our booking and market goals.
  • Ensure all guest-facing blogs are accurate and timely.
  • Work with our internal design and UX team to improve the blog as needed.
  • Work with Team Members to craft blogs and write ad hoc blogs as needed.
  • Partner with the data and analytics team to evaluate blogs success and areas of optimization.

What are we looking for?

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Strong social content background
  • Experience with influencer writing programs
  • Self-starter with the ability to jump in and learn new processes and programs in a dynamic environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • High level of flexibility, integrity, and dedication

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional experience
  • Two (2) years of social media content writing/editing experience
  • Advanced experience using and working in WordPress
  • AP style experience

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
