Job Details

This role works closely with the head of brand strategy, and will have responsibilities spanning multiple disciplines within the larger marketing organization, including social media, lifestyle marketing, PR and design.At its core, the position is meant to help hone our brand through words, and translate that voice into the different medium where we can be found communicating on a B-to-B and B-to-C level, and to ensure consistency across these platforms. Additionally, our copywriter will be tasked with ideating and helping to develop advertising concepts. The ideal candidate should be versatile, articulate, creative, clever, and be in possession of a high EQ and an innate ability to understand how to communicate with disparate audiences. They should also have a deep understanding of pop culture, and be able to speak at length about their favorite TV show.

Responsibilities:
Work on developing a consistent brand and tone for all lifecycle messages across multiple channels.
Collaboration on outbound marketing messaging including email campaigns, push notifications, and in-product messaging
Writing blog copy
Collaboration with designers on new ad units and concepts, both during creative sprints, and on an ongoing basis.
Work with the head of social media on templates for google search ads, copy for organic posts across different platforms, and live tweeting activities.
Radio and TV script writing.

Key Qualifications:
Strong writing samples
Portfolio that shows communication approach across a variety of medium, including social, display advertising, press releases, emails, and longer form content (articles, blog posts)
4-6 years of experience as a copywriter, at a creative agency, tv network, streaming service, or an in-house team
