Content Marketing Specialist, Blog Editor

This position is responsible for marketing Insperity’s corporate brands and elevating the Company’s thought leadership by creating timely, relevant and engaging content for the Insperity blog. This position will participate in developing content and executing tactics in the online arena to generate dialog, brand awareness, sales, and improve and integrate the online customer experience.

Essential Functions

Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

  • Oversees, edits and delivers high-impact and engaging thought leadership content (i.e. blog, e-books) that extends Insperity’s presence, reach, and brand awareness to small businesses.
  • Coaches writing team on new content strategies and writing best practices in order to help them create compelling content.
  • Develops and manages a functional content calendar.
  • Ensures all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality and tone, and optimized for search and user experience for all digital channels.
  • Sources content through identification of subject matter experts, writers, and various content providers. Curating and delivering this content in forms and placement that drive desired customer behavior and business goals.
  • Researches and conducts interviews with internal subject matter experts to develop blog content that is unique, timely, relevant and in demand.
  • Stays abreast of current industry trends, changes, best practices by routinely researching industry news as well as collaborating and maintaining relationships with internal subject matter experts.
  • Researches, analyzes, develops, makes recommendations to management and deploys strategies to increase readership.
  • Meets all deadlines, fulfills scheduling commitments and consistently achieve quick turnarounds in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ensures all blog content meets our corporate style guide and editorial standards.
  • Actively participates in meetings including, but not limited to, brainstorming sessions, kick-off meetings, conference calls, client meetings, etc.
