Position Overview

Align seeks a prolific and passionate Content Marketing Specialist to write and produce a variety of projects and blog regularly to drive brand awareness, improve company’s search rank, and grow leads and subscribers. Candidates must have a knack and love for writing and data-driven strategies, as well as, a high level of ingenuity, attention to detail and project management skills. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.

  • The position will be based out of our New York City office
  • This is a full-time position offering full benefits, a competitive salary and paid training
  • This position reports to the Head of Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Create free resources, marketing materials and timely communications regularly, generating educational, engaging content to drive website traffic, leads, subscribers and other important metrics (examples include whitepapers, newsletters, presentations, email marketing, infographics, datasheets, success stories, etc.).
  • Blog on a regular basis, growing our subscriber base by providing helpful, creative content that addresses the needs of our audience. Optimize content for search engines and lead generation.
  • Review, edit and proofread content and marketing materials.
  • Manage and report on Google AdWords and Analytics, social, websites, campaigns and leads.
  • Work with Head of Marketing, conducting analytical projects to improve blog, email marketing, SEO and PPC strategies.
  • Work with marketing team members to manage and create content for social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram).
  • Research strategic awards for all lines of business, manage awards program and handle entries. Assists with PR announcements, events, promotional materials and messaging.
  • Collaborate with marketing team, sales, and subject matter experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Manages collateral inventory and marketing assets, maintaining and updating systems and databases.
  • Work with vendors to create various branded giveaways and collateral.
