Job Description:

Our Marketing team values accountability in turning strategic plans into effective marketing campaigns. Our team is comprised of driven individuals who have a deep understanding of our customer base and products. We are responsible for being forward thinking and finding creative ways to market our products and brand in order to set up our sales team to drive sales. While each one of us has our individual responsibilities, we take a team-based approach. We are encouraged to take ownership of our ideas and to see them through to completion. We are looking for a prolific and talented content creator to write and produce various types of content and blog regularly, to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, and subscribers. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the content team (internal: marketing team, designers, sales team and external: agency partner, influencers, retailers) to create relevant content for all digital channels, ensuring content is effectively engaging key stakeholders and our target audience.
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Serve as Community Manager for our social channels.
  • Manage content on company WordPress-based website.
  • Manage our email marketing program.
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
  • Track content performance across multiple channels and report and communicate key learnings
  • Conceive, draft, proofread, and edit written materials quickly, with excellent writing skills and ability to write in the Earthbound Farm brand voice.
  • Strong grammatical skills and the ability to develop content that requires little to no editing.
  • Ability to translate research insights into effective content.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Understand and communicate in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
  • Produce content for blog posts, email, infographics, social media campaigns, advertisements, and company websites as needed.
  • Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 3 years’ experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what kind of content Earthbound Farm target audiences consume and how to create it
  • Demonstrated experience building audiences either online or offline.
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
  • Understanding of and interest in organic food and farming desired.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with WordPress, Google analytics, top social channels, and email marketing programs.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign) desired.
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results.
