Job Title: Content Manager

Duration:  12 Months

Location: Oakland, CA 94612

Job Description

The User Engagement + Enablement (UEE) Team is looking for a digital marketing professional to assist in the development of B2B (responsive) websites for Client employees, vendors, etc. The right candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in customer-facing communications, web content management and design.

The job duties cover all aspects of creating a website and complementary marcomm deliverables, from meeting with clients and assessing their needs, to helping create and maintain the end product – all with a user-centered first mentality. We wear a lot of hats on this team, and you can expect your duties to include the following:.

• Designing UI, workflows, conducting user interviews/research.

• Webpage scripting (CSS, HTML, PHP).

• Front-end development (WordPress).

• Shepherding design principles, style guide, and brand across all platforms.

• Writing, copy editing and proofreading.

• Content management.

• Crafting site promotions, emails, and online outreach campaigns.

Requirements

• User-centered design approach.

• Track record of communication and marketing experience.

• Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding in UX/UI best practices.

• Agile across Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar tools.

• Content Management System (CMS) experience (WordPress).

• Multimedia programming and technology.

• Content management.

Basic Qualifications.

• High School Diploma/GED Required. Bachelor''s degree in related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications environment, including intensive project communications support and content development.

• Experience in change leadership and change communications.

• Demonstrated professional-level writing and editing skills for Web and traditional media.

• Graphic design experience.

• Web publishing experience (CMS) and HTML, CSS a plus.

• Superior collaboration skills for working in a complex, non-hierarchical organizational structure.

• Able to respond to emerging issues and crises.

• Recent experience in planning and implementing stakeholder engagement plans and internal communications campaigns for a large, complex organization, agency and health care background required, with track record of increasing responsibility.

• Must have strong communication and planning skills, be a detail oriented, well organized, problem solving/analytical, self-directed, team focused, and results oriented individual.

• Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills.

• Passion for learning: a commitment to keep up with the latest industry trends in both communications and digital marketing.

• Current on technology, digital trends and best practices: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Word Press, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
