Your Role: We are looking for a Community Content Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional, experienced in content writing, editing and curation.  You have strong experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media tools.  You will be producing and publishing content, writing, editing, and proofreading, formulating content strategies and managing an editorial calendar while coordinating with stakeholders across the organization.

We will look to the Community Content Manager to find creative ways of building an engaging online community for our employees, as well as using analytics to monitor and drive continued improvements. You will curate or develop articles, blog posts, polls, images, or videos that aid in fostering engagement online.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content. You will be responsible driving engagement and connection across our internal employee community. Using your strong customer service skills, you will collaborate with a wide range of content contributors and stakeholders from all areas of the organization and from multiple geographies.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff for Applied Solutions, the Community Content Manager will ultimately be the internal champion for our online employee community and helping to foster learning, sharing and collaboration across our organization.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Writing, editing and proofreading content.
  • Formulating a content strategy and editorial calendar
  • Brainstorm with key stakeholders to develop new ideas and programs.
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to content collaborators.
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
  • Establish ongoing meetings with content Leads and key stakeholders throughout the organization.

Who you are:

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA with 5+ years’ experience, or MS with 2+ years’ experience
  • Experience with launching online community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series)
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems. (e.g. Salesforce.com, web content management system etc.)
  • Experience with social media management.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com Community platform preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
  • Strong leadership through influence and relationship management skills.
  • Experience owning/driving projects
