Participates in the development, revision and delivery of internal and external communications materials.

Write articles for newsletters, bulletins, and directorate/office updates. Research and collect appropriate info to create all content and provide references for source materials as appropriate, create initial draft and submit for review and approval. Candidate will draft introductions for monthly blog entries posted on internal Sponsor website. Prepare publicity pieces to advertise customer group's upcoming events/publications. Primary POC for interactions between multiple customer groups to ensure proper coordination and deployment of communications media.
The candidate will write articles for various internal Sponsor newsletters, bulletins, and directorate/office updates based on both current and historical events. Candidate will be expected to research and collect appropriate information to create all content and provide references for source materials as appropriate, create initial draft and submit for review and approval. Candidate will draft introductions for monthly blog entries posted on internal Sponsor website.
• The candidate will prepares publicity pieces to advertise customer group's upcoming events and publications. This may include coordination print services to have advertisement posters created and placed in various locations, drafting promotional emails and sending to appropriate audiences, or other types of electronic communications via websites or blogs.
• Candidate will lead the planning for and marketing of customer group events. Candidate will be expected to make reservations for spaces or conferences rooms in advance of events and submit necessary requests to appropriate facilities offices to ensure all required equipment/materials/supplies are on-site and ready for events. Coordinates with participants and the supporting elements of the event. Provides necessary support on the day of the event.
• Maintains awareness of customer group’s current customer base and identifies opportunities for customer group to expand its audience. Prepares dissemination lists for different types of customer group hardcopy products. Works with Office of Public Affairs to broaden customer group’s outreach to the public.
• Collects and analyzes statistics on readership of customer group’s online products. Prepares monthly report of online statistics. Compiles written feedback provided by customer group customers. Designs approach to assess impact of customer group’s work.
• Candidate will serve as a primary POC for interactions between multiple customer groups to ensure proper coordination and deployment of communications media. Candidate is expected to provide informational briefs or updates to management or outside offices in accordance with established delivery dates or on an ad hoc basis when necessary.
• Candidate will be responsible for scheduling auto-posting of content each week; exact deployments dates and times may vary. Candidate will create links on IC web pages that lead readers to customer publications and multiple sources for related information, articles or documents. Candidate will create and send brief posts via customer media blog with information regarding, upcoming events, posts, or important notices.
• The candidate will support storage and filing of both hard and soft copy files; will work under the guidance of staff historians. The candidate will utilize customer provided software or online storage databases as directed.

1. Develops and revises external and or marketing communications materials and provides related support services, including: staging trade show and event exhibits, speakers support, briefing support, advertising, brochures, white papers and reports, newsletters, website content, video/multimedia, public affairs, professional association activity and events, philanthropic campaigns, and or other promotional activity.

2. Develops and revises external communications materials and provides related support services, including: media and industry analyst relations, news releases, PR support for trade shows, sponsorships and speaking events, by-lined articles, media interviews, developing case histories and story pitches, and industry awards.

3. Develops and revises internal and or executive communications materials and provides related support services, including internal web site (TeamWorks), newsletters, e-letters, magazines, reports, events, speaking opportunities, briefing material, presentations, demos, brochures, video, web casts, document reproduction, and or other communications related activity.

4. Coordinates with more-experienced Communications Specialists and various Division and department managers to ensure accurate information is incorporated in communications messages, materials and activities.

5. Supports proposal development activities as required.

6. Maintains current knowledge of company services, products, partners, and organization.

7. Maintains current knowledge of major industry, competitor and customer events, issues, and activities.

8. Participates in special projects as required.
