Strategic Execution and Operations (SEO) focuses on achieving operational excellence across our businesses to enable the Company to execute more effectively against our regulatory priorities and further drive our transformation.

The SEO Office’s mission is to create a one Wells Fargo consistent, coordinated, and efficient operational excellence mindset through:

  • Ensuring that our business design and practices achieve our risk management goals and satisfy our regulatory priorities
  • Addressing regulatory criticism and clear strategic regulatory priorities
  • Aligning business strategies and execution
  • Driving greater consistency of process, practices and execution
  • Identifying opportunities for organization changes that reduce complexity and achieve the benefits of streamlined efficiencies
  • Establishing monitoring and accountability metrics to drive and maintain execution performance

The Analytic Cons 4 opportunity will report to the Reporting and Analytics Manager.  This position will be responsible for creating and publishing automated, and non-automated, reporting to establish accountability and monitor performance across LOB’s and Risk types; including, but not limited to heat maps, scorecards and other reporting to measure progress against goals.  This position will partner closely with SEO leaders and their respective teams to understand processes, priorities, data-driven needs and objectives in order to optimize data sourcing, reporting and delivery.

Key responsibilities for this individual will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Delivering analysis and insights through reporting, both automated and non-automated
  • Establish monitoring and accountability metrics to drive and maintain execution performance
  • Partner with key stakeholders and partners to develop end to end reporting and automation strategy
  • Develop and implement dynamic data visualization and technical solutions using SSRS, Tableau or equivalent business intelligence tools
  • Collaborate with business partners to assist in defining business requirements, consult on potential solutions and support reporting/data needs
  • Data sourcing and creation of ETL processes
  • Adherence to Wells Fargo data management/information security regulations and policies

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Tableau
  • Knowledge and understanding of data visualization
  • Risk and finance regulatory reporting experience
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL Server, Teradata and Oracle
  • Ability to transform complex data and analyses into easily digestible and visually accessible dashboards and reports
  • Demonstrated data visualization experience using a BI tool (prefer 2+ years Tableau experience)
  • Proven ability to create and deliver both automated and non-automated reporting
  • Experience accessing, measuring operational data
  • Experience in developing and delivering regulatory reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand risks and integration/interdependency of risks
  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders to achieve common ground and resolve obstacles to success
